Full Size Air Awning
Hi Guys,
I'm finding it very difficult to get a full size air awning for my Bailey Pageant Auvergne,1997. There does not seem to be any communication between the accessory companies and the caravan manufactures. Does anyone know of a good air awning that would give me maximum space. I think 390 is as big as I can have but it would be great if anyone has a similar van to me that could tell me a good one to go for.
Thanks In advance
James

I'm using a Bradcot Air Aspire 260 (porch awning) and am very pleased with it.

Does it absolutely have to be an air awning? We recently bought a second hand Bradcot Classic awning, with easy erect poles, which must be as easy to erect (and dismantle) as an air awning. The poles are lightweight, and fold out, and the awning is robust, and fits well.
Your caravan needs a similar size to ours according to the Bradcot website, and we find this awning fits better than any previous awning we've owned.
We only paid £50 for our awning, last year, from an advert on a caravanning forum, and bought it from lovely caravanners who had bought a new caravan and needed a larger awning.

You need to check what length of straight awning rail you have to determine the max size of air awning you can have.
I am on my second air awning. They are great for people like me who mainly travel solo.
I like mine because I don't have to worry about poles hitting the van or coming down in the wind. I am currently using a Kampa which came as part of a deal with the van. My previous air awning, a Camptech 390 was lighter than this one. Both give great extra room, especially important as I have dogs.
The Camptech is for sale😉
