The Caravan and Motorhome Club is often featured in magazines, on the radio and even on TV.

In the last month we have been on:

The Wanderlust Magazine website, in the article, ‘Free Wheeling - How to get started in campervan or motorhome adventures’.

BBC Berkshire and BBC Oxford, on the 4th June, Harvey Alexander, Director of Marketing at the Club was interviewed on the benefits of being a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

BBC Radio 2, on the 26th May, Steve Wright announced that the Club’s national rally had started.

ITV, Good Morning Britain, on the 11th May visited Alderstead Heath Club Site and interviewed Nick Lomas, Director General of the Club.

ITV, Lorraine, on the 11th May was also at Alderstead Heath Club Site for their motorhome competition giveaway.

BBC Four, The Secret Life of the Motorway, aired on 7th May and mentions the Club and how motorways changed the way people were able to holiday, making caravanning a popular choice for holidays.

BBC2, Escape to the Country, aired on 6th May and featured a couple who were looking for a home where they could start a CL Site. They visited an existing CL to try and understand what was involved with running a site.

BBC 2, Top Gear, in the last episode of the series, Matt LeBlanc mentions the Club’s Towcar of the Year competition.

Have you seen the Club featured on any shows, in magazines or newspapers or on the radio? If so let us know.

The last time I can recall hearing the Club mentioned on TV was around 14 months ago. Caravanner of the Year. Derided from Lands End to John O Groats. With a bit of luck, after the image and name change, some will no longer realise it is the same Club.

Sorry, but you did ask. wink

Wow missed all of those - thankfully 😉.

Where are all these new members going to pitch their caravan or motorhome? Sites and CL's are closing and no new club sites and a few CL are opening so more folks competing for a limited number of pitches making pack up a go touring challenging. Maybe we'll all be using commercial sites and not worry about being members in the future??
