Well, not quiet this morning but this was their first game. Looking forward to the rest of the tour, here's  hoping for greater things in the coming weeks! Just wonder who will be the stars of the tour, any thoughts?

Pretty poor performance in opening game.Perhaps Jet Lagged. This was the weakest side they will pay against. Will need to up their game from now on.

Having flown to NZ a couple of times recently I can certainly say that jet lag got to me, so some players are not going to be at their best. As for potential stars, I would not be able to make a prediction. As long as they give their best then that is all that matters to me.

So the next fifteen in that next game this Wednesday will be different to a man. Fascinating but not unique in the history of such tours. Here's hoping for a more competitive and coherent performance from the Lions this time against the Blues.

To be honest, although pleased I'm just a tad underwhelmed! Sonny B red carded, 14 men for much of the game and a kick in the closing minutes to seal the win. Not overly confident but the 'faith' is still in tact for that series win.

I thought the Lions played quite well apart from the penalty count which should have been more costly. Don't forget when the first try was scored there were 14 players on the pitch for both sides. 2 tries to nil against the All Blacks, I'll take that any day. Looking forward to the 3rd test.

Neither a roar nor a whimper but hey, a draw is no defeat! Well done to all involved for the sport and the excellent sportsmanship witnessed throughout the series!

On BBC 1 ( may only be Wales) there is a programme highlighting Sir Gareth Edwards 70 th birthday with archive footage of old Lions tours.

It was an excellent programme with some superb footage. Many of the 1971 &  74 Lion teams participating. Some wonderful anecdotes from other payers. Max Boyce  etc.
