Two questions

Firstly, did anyone else's May magazine arrive a month late? Mine arrived last week, in fact the day before the June magazine. If so, anyone know the explanation?

Secondly, is there any chance the club will get its security certificate updated?

Okay, so strictly speaking that's three questions :)

No idea about the magazine except I agree it seems a bit strange.

Re the security certificates how is this affecting you and what system are you using OS/Browser?

I guess there is always the possibility that the May magazine was delayed in a post office sorting depot somewhere.

Perhaps an email to HO regarding your security certificate question would get you the correct answer.

@david kline. I'm using silk browser on a kindle fire, which blocks me because it regards the site as insecure.

I use a kindle fire with silk but haven't had any issues with this. When the site was upgraded my Kindle Fire was read only for months and months as it ate words I typed! I tend to use my phone now for CT because of the problems. Hope you get it resolved.

Thanks David, that's exactly the problem. I don't buy into Rowena's explanation though, that doesn't answer why it's only started happening since the website rehash. After all, I've done nothing to change the configuration of the WiFi I use and it's definitely WPA protected.

The certificates and WPA have nothing to with each other

WPA is the way you connect to wi-fi, basically your device connects to the SSID and sends a password and you get connected. On an open wi-fi you do not need the password.

The certificate is used to encrypt what you are sending and receiving through the internet. The CC is using TLS 1.1, it might be better using TLS 1.2 and 1.3 is being developed.

As for the problem with the kindle fire, have you checked the time setting ?
