hi I have been cleaning our motorhome and unable to remove bits from the roof air / fly screens. Is the only way to remove debris to climb on the the roof with a hoover!!!!

Our bathroom one can be unhooked and washed. Pretty scary as I'm scared it'll break, but just undoing one side means the stuff falls on the floor.

Never succeeded with the lounge one. It's either in or over. Did try vac-ing once with OH holding it out but still can't reach it all. Never thought to do from the roof 😲. Be interested to read the responses.

There is a video on Youtube, which is basically what we do, but we make sure we have a dust sheet on the floor before we start because some debris does fall down into the caravan.   Take the frame off, slide the roller and flyscreen out, hoover it, and if it's marked you can clean it with a kitchen spray - make sure that it's dry before putting it back.

This is presuming your rooflight(s) are the same as ours - two mini Hekis, and a large Heki.

On the larger Heki there are some perforated 'covers' which you need to remove to get access to the screws to remove the frame.
