I'm not working 'til 4pm on sunday so can do either Rowena :D

Windtourer there are toilets around the arena area but no showers, the Club site is totally separate from this site.

We passed by the club site on the way to the National. Plenty of sunshine for our journey but we arrived safely by midday Friday and soon got pitched.

Shall we say 10.30 in the club marquee. I know you all probably have plans for the day but if you can spare half an hour or so for a chat and coffee that would be great. Hopefully see you there! smile

We're just about to have breakfast at the moment. We'll try to be ready to visit you at the club marquee at 10:30. It's 08:50 now. After that, we plan to visit Sandringham House and Gardens. We're not sure of how to get there but maybe you can point us in the right direction. Look forward to seeing you.

It's ok, Rowena. We only stayed for about 10 minutes but couldn't find anyone from CT so we went on to visit Sandringham House and gardens which we enjoyed seeing.

Hi Rowena sorry we missed you also.we have such a busy weekend ,we arrived early Friday morning and havent stopped since. We have had a great weekend.Trying to see as much of the arena entertainment as time would permit, been around a Sandringham House & Gardens, watched the Monaco Grand Prix in the Whale sports bar, visited a couple of local beaches, walked a good few miles around the surrounding grounds ,my only criticism would be that it needs more traders. But we have had a great weekend and hope to get to Sledmore 2018.

Been here since Friday morning and nothing in the programme about a CT get together, tech forum this morning was disappointing, but they did admit the website is not as they were hoping for.

Hi Ian, so sorry about this. It was a late decision to have a get together so we missed the print deadline on the programme. We will try and arrange something again next year.

Glad you have had a great time Brian & Jo and sorry we missed you - will have to meet up next year at Sledmere.

Is that next year for this 'tech forum' also?

Or is that a different forum to this one?

Lovely sunny morning for our departure today. The time seems to have gone very quickly. Now time for us to head off to Scotland.

Tech forum was a Q&A session in the big marquee, lots of noise from the arena made it difficult to hear and it was quite poorly attended.

Good National on the whole but I was concerned at the lack of security  at the blue gate, anybody could drive in and turn left because the check point was 200 yards up the road.

Sorry Rowena missed all of the posts, due to very poor signal. We managed the bike ride, which was very well organised, did you and your family compete?

Cannot remember now what we did as found it a very busy 5 days.

    Rowena

Did not go online during national, so did not get details, I did go the club marquee at 11.00 following the church service, no body knew anything about a CT meet, eventually a young lady 'marshal' ? said you were outside earlier but could not find anyone, she said you would possibly be back soon, waited some time and then give up.

Perhaps a notice somewhere or info the 'desk' people may be a help next time.

Just returned so quick mention of the good points and not so good points.

    Good.

Excellent effort by all pitching staff, the rate our section filled up on the Friday was short of amazing.

    Weather and venue.

Evening entertainment, what we had booked for was certainly vg.

The horse show, not quite sure what you call it, but was a first for us.

    Bad

Sound system massive booms over speaker system.

Whoever placed the dancefloor at the REAR of the Rod Stewart tribute act, needs to sit where we did and listen to the constant talking from rear of marquee.

The lack of "red" signposts until you got to the blue gate.Strange.
