Caravan road lights fuse Buccaneer

I have a Buccaneer Cruiser pulled by a Landrover LR4. The car fuse that supplies the caravan side lights when towing blows every time I replace it. I end up using the fog lights if towing in poor light.

Suggestions please.

Sounds like a short somewhere.  Probably from the connector back into the caravan.  An electrician should be able to find it fairly quickly.  Have a look in the 13 pin connector to check the wiring then trace the cable back under the caravan as far as you can to check it is not damaged.  It might be in the car side of the connector and a towbar fitter will be able to check that for you with his clever kit.  I had similar fault a few years ago in N France.  It was damp in the connector after a night of heavy dew/fog with no cover on the A frame - I now put the cover on every night!

sounds like the 7or13 pin plug to me either dirty or a loose connection in either the male or female plugs
