My wife and I are considering buying a PVC, 2 berth, end lounge motorhome, but want to hire one first to see if we like the experience.

I've not being able to find one to hire, maybe I'm using the wrong terms in Google, so wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction please?

Trecott, there is a MH hire company across the road from Chelston Motorhomes at Wellington. I can't remember their name but I wouldn't be surprised to find it is part of Chelston's set up. You could try ringing Chelston.

Look at south west campers.  I don't know what they're like but they do have trigano tributes which are pvc with rear lounge.  We have an autocruise accent which is also a pvc with rear lounge, we tend to leave the bed made up when we're away, but that's probably because we're in our 60s and just found it too tiring putting it down and making it up every day!!!

    Thanks guys.

Since my original post I found South West Campers and have booked a week next month in a Tribute 669. So now looking forward to our first trip in a MH,

Unfortunately Trecott seems to have disappeared.  Hopefully they'll come back and see some of the suggestions.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

As I mentioned previously I have agreed to hire a Trident 669 from South West Campers. Similar to the one tin tent showed a link to.

Bruce, when I phoned the company you linked to they only had coach builds for hire and I wanted a PVC. But thanks for the suggestion.

For anyone else wanting to hire a panel van conversion, they are offered on this website Private Campervan Hire, along with many others types of campervan and motorhome.
