Lunar Conquest (Quaser) 2013 Window Cracked.
Whilst in storage the front centre window has cracked. I know it was not done before going in to storage as I washed beforehand. Reading some reports on other forums it would seem that this could be a common problem and some owners have had repairs under the guarantee sanctioned by Lunar. My dealership has said I have no chance in seeking a free repair and have quoted £469. Before paying this, I just wondered whether any other Lunar owners have had the same problem, and what was the outcome.

I have not heard of it with Lunar although other makes have had problems with windows but not that. If the window was cracked by a stone or something there should be a mark at the point of impact. Even if there is no mark to show that it, would be very difficult to prove the window was faulty without an expert report, which would probably cost too much to justify it.

The crack is on the inside of the window, so it was not caused by stone chips . There is no mark, each end of the crack simply goes to a point. It has also spread since I first noticed it and the caravan has not moved. There is some talk that you should not have the blinds down, when in storage and facing south, as the silver reflective surface builds up heat. This apparently, can cause the window to distort and crack.
Thank you Wildwood for your response.

We have a 2012 Lunar Clubman. On our windows there are stickers with a diagram showing that the blinds should not be fully closed on windows facing the sun as heat builds up causing air inside to expand. I had two front side windows blow on previous caravan. We put blinds to cover 60% of window and fly screen over rest

If you want to challenge the cost of the replacement window then have a look at the Eeco website - they make replacement windows for a lot of caravan dealers, and will give you a quote for a new window, which you could then fit yourselves. They can match colours and sizes, and usually provide a quick and efficient service. It's really not a difficult job to do yourself.
Ask your dealer to break down the repair quote into 'materials' and labour. Our (brilliant) dealer uses Eeco for replacement windows, but even they were going to charge us a lot more for the new window then Eeco were quoting them! Ours was a very large single window, and we thought the quote from Eeco for the replacement was very reasonable.

Thanks for your responses. There is no notice on the Windows or Lunar manual referencing the blind positioning. It seems strange to raise the blind slightly to stop build up of heat as heat rises.
I looked into Eeco and unfortunately they cannot match the original design which has a series of black spots around the perimeter. They can only do a plain one. This would have been ok if it were a single window but not as a part of a group of three.
Have just written to Lunar to see if they will cover the work under the warranty.
