    My Avatar is now a few years old. It is just too problematical to bother updating it.

    I've tried to change mine too .... no such luck. Apparently there's a 5 min delay in the site updateing. ..... I wish.

    New to carananing also, 2 weeks last Sept up in Northumberland for first time out,  set off this year May 3rd , third stop now in Prague, on ten week 'Grand Tour'.

    Did have some experience from working on uncles farm during harvest with corn carts, but just take it steady and go with the flow.

    That is exactly how to do it. Sensible drivers towing realise they have to take things easy.

    first  off I had small trailer like these erdi's now, but when getting a job driving a 3500 k.g. van and putting up tp 16 foot trailers on I soon learnt how to back it  (Reverse) as they say in haulage, that wasback in the 1980's
