I know that we have some railway enthusiasts on CT so I thought I'd start a thread where you can all chat about such things.

    Found this thread - at last - though all contents seem to have disappeared. Just seen a trailer on our local news that BBC are showing a half hour programme on Tornado's recent 100 mph test at 7:30 tonight. Don;t know whether it's national  or just on some regional outputs, ours is NE & Cumbria.

    It's available on i-Player, search on Tornado - the 100mph steam engine. Apparently it was on Yorks and Lincs and on NE and Cumbria only. For anyone with an interest in steam, it was a good 30 mins worth.

    Enjoy! That engine gets around, it was touring Fife last weekend.

    Tried to add a photo I took of it near Northallerton last July, but it's way over the 500kB limit for CT.
