The light on our cassette toilet didn't show the toilet was full, it's overflowed slightly into the cassette holder, we can see wires are in this area etc and wondering how to empty the actual compartment and clean it. Many thanks

This discussion seems to have got lost yesterday; where have all the posts gone?  If the red light is not working it is one of two things; either the float inside the cassette has come loose (probably by over vigorous shaking when cleaning), or the reed switch is broken.  The reed switch is on the green circuit board behind the cassette; you can check it by  placing a magnet over it, if the red light comes on it is ok and its a rubber gloves job inside the cassette. If the light does not come on a new switch is needed, get a replacement and just plug it in - quick and inexpensive and more pleasant to do than the alternativemoney-mouth.

These points were both covered in the lost posts!

This is a muddle clicking on Bolero boy's post in CT latest activity it is post 10 of 11. I go to next page and expect to find post 11. It says 2 replies. Crazy! But I know his and my reply were on the empty one when I posted 1 reply him 1 reply me 😲

I always go in via CT latest page and when I checked latest discussions yesterday there were two threads with very slightly different times.

This seems to indicate they're combined. Who knows? Totally confused of Essex. I am a girl from Essex NOT an Essex girl 😉

Perhaps the 'Ask the Expert Section' which apparently isn't to be posted in, is just 'masking' the 'Hidden' section............... where all the moderated threads disappear to?!!!

I've tried amending the URL to include Hidden, but just get a Page Not Found message.

Now I've unfortunately typed this into the Cassette thread, when I intended it to go into the discussion on Hidden posts.
