so late I know, but does any one know anywhere with 4 nights available 26th may bank Hol, looking Yorks or Cumbria area, I've searched everywhere, never tried a cl as we need a toilet and electricity and I'm worried about narrow roads for entry! We're at Wanda home nor a1 frid morning for service but can go on from there, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Madeleine

No idea how busy it is, but try this http://www.clifffarmholidays.com/

Used to be a CL, now a small private site on edge of NY Moors. Closest town is Pickering. Very nice, excellent facilities.

Failing this, why not do a CL search and find some with the facilities you need? There are some superb examples, all a question of what you need. Break free from Club Sites once, and you will view touring in a whole different light, and probably save a deal of money. Good luck!smile

Have you looked in Late Availability in UK Holidays at the top of the page?

    Here's the LINK

For CLs I wouldn't worry too much about access and facilities, many have easy access and some have the facilities you want. If you look in the CL section quite a few owners post their own late availabilty.

Madeleine - Not a club site, but we're at Wood Nook near Grassington at the moment. Very nice quiet site with all facilities and if you're quick the website shows a couple of pitches available for Bank Holiday weekend. smile

Glad you got sorted Madeleine. Looks a nice site but unfortunately (for us!) it's "no dogs". Better hope the Yorkshire weather looks up a bit now - it's been hammering down all day today so far. frown

It is a nice CL with  hook up, shower room with toilet and a separate toilet. When you come up the hill, just past the bus stop you will see the CL sign. If possible move out into the centre of the road to turn in, it is not narrow, but it will help getting in. Enjoy, KNaresborough is lovely and it is not far to shops or Harrogate.
