    Is it food grade quality?

I assume the OP means one of those hoses that stretches and contracts.

Yes. We bought one in Spain last winter when we realised  we had our own water tap on pitch!   I was amazed that a hose so compact could expand to such a length  (and retract) so well

I am entirely happy to drink water directly from any new, and frequently used hose, but not water which has stood in an aquaroll and/or been through the caravan piping.   It is really easy to just fill a 5l container -or a washed-out plastic milk container- directly from the tap to use as drinking waterlaughing

There was a chap using one to fill his M/H's 150ltr water tank on the CC's Clachan site a couple of days ago. He was saying that he tours most of the year round both here and abroad and by the looks of him there was no adverse reaction to using that type of hose.
