Fridge light

can anyone help please, I have a bailey pageant monarch series 7 caravan, the fridge light has not worked since purchase.  I bought a new unit and it is still not working. Is there  a cell battery somewhere that works this as we only use fridge when plugged into electric,  Thank you

    Did you ensure that your new door switch was the correct one?There are 2 different door switches!I assume that you are referring to the square unit with led lights and the latch for storage in the open position.

    You do have the 12 volt on don't you, my Pageant fridge light works from the leisure battery, also check your 12 volt fuses their is about 10 of them

     My fridge don't have no light. Feel for cold beer and job's a good one!
