Hyundai Santa Fe

Hi everybody,

We have recently changed our Caravan to a Swift Conqueror 580 and find it a bit heavy for our existing tow  car (Mercedes C220 estate) at a 93% match.

I have been towing for 40 years so am reasonably confident but prefer to stick with the 85% recommended by the Club.

My question is, I quite fancy the new Hyundai Santa Fe which gives a 83% match, does anyone out there have any experience towing with this car, any plus and/or minus's would be gratefully appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Every report that I have heard concerning the new Santa Fe, has been very positive.

IMHO Hyundai in the past couple of years have moved far away from the original "bit iffy new constructer" label that all new names start with.  Since those early years they have worked very hard, and as a  result have built  for themselves a good reputation,  for design and build quality and for offering a great warranty!  I would happily buy one  today.
