Door key replacement or spare
I have two keys for my caravan door and hatch locks and since one resides with our caravan storage company I would like to get an additional key cut in case I lose the one I carry.
The locks are made by a company called West Alloy and I've checked their website and they make no mention of being willing to provide spare keys. I will telephone them during the week but in the meantime can anyone here let me know if they have had additional keys cut at a locksmith?

If they are the factory fitted locks, you should be able to order spares from a dealer that trades in your make of caravan. We had to do that a couple of years ago when I turned the key in the door and the plastic cover shattered. I was left with the key blade and bits of plastic in my hand. I think we had to buy two keys the same, minimum. I hope this helps.

I just got my spares at the dealer where we brought our van. I just them them the number on the key itself and they had a whole selection of keys and it was just a case of matching the number. On you key is there a number? If so just give that to the dealer or the company.
Pot edit, sorry bandgirl didn't see you had already answered
