the site info page both on here and in the handbook tells you where the nearest site is but where do they measure it from ?? I have looked up sites on google and found that it's always more to a particular site than the club states. may not be a lot one I have looked up The Firs to Carsington Water club states 6.41 miles google 10.7 ,anyone else found this ??

I believe it's as the crow flies. I see lots of crows pulling caravans 😉. Thus if you're on the Isle of Wight it could give mainland site. Useful 😉

Indeed it does. Note the suggestions for Tredegar house, Hurn lane for instance is actually 55 miles by road. Baltic Wharf and Cheddar are also of course widely wrong, as it has calculated straight across the Bristol Channel. Even with Pandy, on the same side of the channel, it has removed a few bends. It should be 27 rather than 23.4. Just another thing on this web site that needs fixing.☹️

I gave up with it long ago when it suggested a route through central London and on a second one said "you have been traveling two hours stop and take a rest". The next instruction was "turn left into the site".
