Don't forget if you want to see one of the best (and oldest) Shorthorn herds in the country, be sure to watch Countryfile this Sunday (30th April) on BBC One. It regularly get 6 million plus viewers - why not be one of them.

This week you can whizz through(if recorded) the bits about hedgehogs and other fluffy bits, until you get to Adam's Farm. He's not at home in the Cotswolds - but up in south Cumbria.

I think that after the programme there will be some photos on their website.

It's a media frenzy here - we're on the local paper today and our son is on BBC Cumbria tomorrow morning (I think).

Hey, I like Hedgehogs and sometimes fluffy things!wink

We'll be glued to the tv for a change (but only because we like Shorthorns).

Now that you've hit celebrity status will you still be bothered with us ordinary folk?

We don't know how the programme will show us, but we do have faith in Adam and his crew who were wonderful to work with.

Loved it 😆. What a fabulous place to live and what a clean yard you have 😂. If I looked closely I could see you'd cleaned the house well and sparkly surfaces 😂😂

For once we watched the whole  programme live. We usually record it and skip through to Adams Farm and the weather.

My younger son and family were up for the weekend so we sat in a circle (in the sitting room which you didn't see) and heaved a sigh of relief when it was over. It seemed so quick and so much was left out.

Then we watched it again (to time it) and to comment.

Today it's back down to earth.

Goldie it was great and you should be very proud. The complete footage will be archived at the BBC forever more and you maybe used as part of research for future generations on so many levels😆.

Now that the cows are out in the fields do you get your extra large loofah back?

The milk cows may be out, but the dry cows inside can still enjoy it.
