Big new plastic steps

Now we are getting older l saw the new large plastic steps on site at Bridlington that someone had bought Saw them at my dealers bought a pair, they make it a lot easier to access the van anyone else feel the same

    we bought ours last year and find its a lot easier when stepping in and out of the caravan so do our two jack russells

    We had them supplied with a new van but prefer our Milenco double steps with non slip rubber treads, for us the plastic steps flex to much for comfort and tend to slide more on gravel.

    It sounds like you may be confused with the basic single step supplied with most caravans. The plastic steps we are referring to in this post are two step units they have very large treads, they are wide and very strong they do not flex at all and have peg holes in the feet if you want to stop them sliding.

    I think they are brilliant, I wish I had bought them years ago.

    The only drawback is that they are quite big to get through the door of the caravan when packing up

    I have a large plastic step(2 steps) and they do make a big difference. To stop them slipping on the hardstanding I just put a couple of metal pegs through the holes on the feet. Yes they are a bit big for the door so it is a case of tipping them sideways to fit through then placing them flat once inside. Not much hardship for a good pair of steps.
