Just wondered if anyone with an Elddis Avante caravan from around 2012 had ever had course to replace the microwave?  We have tried various shops, i.e. Curry's, Argos etc. and cannot find another microwave that will fit.  Can anyone help please?

We don't know as there was no paperwork with the caravan regarding the microwave when we bought it.

All the information should be on the rating plate on the rear of the old microwave ie input and output wattage, armed with that and a tape ruler you should find something

Did you manage to find a microwave? Mine started smoking whilst on holiday and I now need to replace it.
also it was held in place with brackets screwed into the side. How did you manage to get a new one to stay in place

    thanks

I'm in the throes of fitting one into my MH. It was the most compact I could find. A Russell Hobbs 14L size. 43 x 35 x 22cm

Have you tried contacting Elddis. When my one stopped working I tried everywhere to get one to fit without success. As a last resort I contacted the caravan maker, (Lunar), and they had a couple in stock that had now been superseded. The fascia fitting screws were hidden by the hinges of the adjacent door, requiring removing the door.
