I wonder if someone can help me with my Dometic toilet. 1st time out this year and arrived on site, set up and found my toilet didn't flush. The handbook states 'change the fuse' tried it and still didn't work, someone told me the pump could have packed in. Will take it back to the dealer when we get home. The only problem is ' How do I empty the water that I've already put in', the handbook doesn't say. Please can you help me

There should be a drain down pipe in the cassette compartment . Our Lunar has one it's a thin black rubber tube with a little black rubber bung in the end. When it not in use it's tucked up above where the cassette sits. Untuck it, take out the bung and the water can be run out into a bucket. I run the water down the spout of the watering can that I use to fill the flush tank.

Our 2014 Clubman SI does not have a drain hose, you have to empty by using the flush so, if its not working, would leave it to the dealer.

When I had a Lunar, I found the wiring to the fuse carrier (just to the left of the bottom tank) for the flush had corroded, needed a bit of wire chopping off & re-connecting

Sometimes the pump sticks. Try giving it a thump. It's worked for me before.

l had the same problem with my 2015 from new had it back to the dealers 3 times, finally found out the wiring loom was at fault, they had to remove the toilet has the problem can't be rectified in place. Don't be fobbed off by the dealer or Dommetic they know about the faulty looms. What year is your van l assume its before 2016 has they went back to thetford in 2016, when they fit the new loom make sure they up grade the pump they will try and say its sufficient, l quoted heath and safety as it weren't removing the soils quote not fit for purpose my dealer agreed and made them supply the upgraded pump. All this was done 2 years ago had know problems to date touch wood. The only way to get the water out of the cistern is to syphon it out. Hope this helps, good luck
