I know, I know, embarassed got caught by his nibs laughing

Frost must have been quite hard, even though I covered the Pieris its been caught and the Bleeding Heart plant, which was looking good, now looking sad with wilted broken stems frown The garden is about 3 weeks early this year as normally the 2 shrubs are not at this stage when we go away, we are not off for another 12 days yet.

Housework done, washing in machine, lunch finished and cleared away, time to get back at the sewing machine and do some more covers for the van. Yesterday I made a set of water proof bags for the lounge chairs that we take with us. OH has made a bracket and fitted it to the trailer so the chairs can be fastened on there instead of going in the van.

Washing machine finished so best get this load outside.

The holiday's over. We did minimal work Saturday to Monday (just milking/feeding/mucking out etc) but it's back to normal today.

Visiting family have gone (leaving behind a dog bed) and we're eating leftovers.

I've paid the monthly bills and finalised the PAYE 2016/17 tax year.

    Time for a rest methinks!

Trikyp we couldn't get lunch at the garlic farm when we visited, it was so busy. The food sounds really good. We bought quite a lot of smoked garlic and OH has been growing various sorts since the visit.

Have had a nice lunch out at NT Barrington Court. We borrowed the free tennis court for a knock around, that got rid of the calories! Then came home and helped grandson make some catapults. That should please his parents!! wink

Actually Malcolm, I suggested that you contact ACAS,

I hope that you have checked and confirmed that you have legal insurance to cover the solicitor costs.

Washed the caravan (I'm sure that roof is getting bigger!)......then cut the grass......my back! frown

But highlight if the day, Mrs Duck came with her 4 ducklings - born this morning, judging by the size of them! smile She's still getting pestered by male ducks but was fending them off well. Poor little things must wonder what they have been born into. Anyway, she has given them a good tour of our garden. Just hope they can keep warm tonight.

IAN Thanks for that but that is flexible and the 28mm waste needed is rigid hence the "problem" have to take a trip to a c/van dealer as  it seem s to be for leisure industryundecided

Just back from a very pleasant 5 night stay at CAMC Moorhampton. That area around Hereford is much under rated, some lovely walks with fabulous views - we made it to the top of Hergest Ridge near Kingston where, for not a lot of effort you get superb 360°views back to the Malverns and up to Mid Wales. Only wet day was Monday where a slight navigational fracas resulted in us having to retrace our steps to Pembridge ( I leave you to guess who got the blame for that!).

No WiFi on site so a bit of catching up to do on here and no consistent TV signal so we missed the last episode Broadchurch - anyone know what happened? No, please don't! Going to watch it on ITV hub later!

Hope everyone who was away had an equally good time. smile

Most certainly will. Our perrius (spellin!) finished 😦.  Luckily don't have anything tender, apart from me. My garden is designed? evolved? to be Hardy and fend for itself. A son with a ball - had to be careful wording that 😋 ensured it was sorted that way from very early on. So 25 plus years later I can generally walk away and leave it whenever I like. Grass keeps growing!!

The wisteria around here has been fully open for at least a week crazy but beautiful. 😃. We are still awaiting rain again water butts low again. I can't remember watering tubs and I don't have many these days, in March and April.

Please check because I always thought that was incase of accident and to do with issue regarding your vehicle.
