Going to order some goods online from Go Outdoors. Can't find on CMC web site the discounts we get for being a member. It must be here somewhere but can't seem to find it. Any ideas? Do you have to quote club number on line for discount to be applied? Your help as usual would be most appreciated.

    I asked about this when I bought some bits from them a couple of weeks ago and the young lady on the checkout couldn't find any code for Caravan Club but could for Camping Club.As I belong to both still got the extra 10%.Don't know if this helps or not.

    As far as I can see, Go Outdoors don't offer discount to this club. Cotswold Outdoors yes and Mountain Warehouse yes but not Go Outdoors.

    The discounts can be found by clicking Offers on the menu at the top of the page then selecting Member Offers.

    I've bought things front Go Outdoors the last thing I bought was the pair of trainers went to pay with my debit card and the cashier saw my caravan  club membership card and gave me 10% discount you get this by being a member.

    Don't know about CAMC. However, you get the 10% for English Heritage, they certainly have a code for that.

    Oh that's great! I recently bought stuff from Go Outdoors and I didn't know about discounts for Caravan Club, English Heritage, National Trust, all of which were members. I was in the Scouts once and even passed my cycling proficiency test when I was only 10 as well! I'm going back to Go Outdoors next week and will take my receipt for the jubilee clip I bought.

    Thank you all. So nothing in tablets of stone then. I thought the club had negotiated discounts but obviously not. Oh well !!!!!!!

    Has far as i know the discounts that are available at Go Outdoors above the discount card that they have running is for C&CC members only?

    I think that often the staff at many of these 'outdoors' stores don't really know, so they just give you the discount anyway (assuming that it must be correct, because you asked for it).

    Always pays to ask.

    Perhaps where members of this Club have obtained discount from Go Outdoors the staff member concerned has been confused by the names of the two caravanning clubs being so similar. If one is not a member of either, or both, would one know what the card looked like anyway?

    So just ask for "the caravanners' discount" and you might get lucky!

    Wakefield told me it's only the caravan and camping club that get the discount.
