Hi I brought a Bailey senator oklahoma 2006 model a couple of weeks ago and been doing a few bits and pieces to it but found last night that the truma heater won't ignite on the gas. When I try it just  makes a clicking noise. Ang ideal would be welcome thank you.

Basic question coming up, not meant as an insult. Have you removed the external cover? Does the cooker work on gas? There are internal gas taps that may be switched off as well. These are not in set places. Hope this helps.

There are 2 threads running in this so you may want to track of them both. It's probably the site not you! 😉

It's the water heater that needs the cover off to work on gas in my van not the room heater.  The gas heater for the room has a battery pack which may need new batteries.  Mine is accessible without removing casing.  Get your head at floor level and you should see it underneath somewhere.  You also have to set it on highest setting for ignition and hold the button down for a while at the same time as making it click.

But if you are talking about the water heater that does need the cover removed but since you have said clicks I think it's the heater heater!

I have replied to your very similar, but not identical,  post  in 'Caravan and Motorhome Chat'.

(The forum software creates enough double-posts by itself, without additional helpsmile)

Pippah, in the later post he says it is a 3002/s, which is indeed the space heater, not the water heater.
