CL search problem?
Been trying to search for CLs in Devon selected "all towns" but once once I added filters which were dogs allowed, electric and toilets it said no matches, any one else had problems? Searched a few weeks ago for West Sussex area and it was fine,

There are threads running about this. I believe one, posted by a CL owner, had promised the issues would be resolved by this evening 🤐. Try looking at the latest activity pages to find them. Good luck.
Edit I hope this works https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/discussions/sites-touring/certificated-locations/another-cl-booking-bug

I'm finding that filters are working reasonably well now but if you select any of the following you will not get any CL returned:- children welcome, W/C or showers. Doesn't matter if you select other filters as well you'll still get nowt!
Another tip is if you are searching for a CL by name do not select from the drop down if there are multiple CLs with the same name as whichever you select you will always get the 1st in the list. Instead just type the full name in and select Search.

Still not possible to add a review to a CL with no reviews and if there are CLs with the same name there is a chance that the reviews displayed will be for another site.

i thought it was me who needed the opticians when trying to check on 3 of my fav. cls. the reply is nothing in this area ? it seems many members are haveing the same problem, are we entitaled to a discount on membership fees for not being able to use something we contribute to but cannot use due to bad management from the so called know alls. can someone sort this problem before cl owners say enough is enough, why should we bother if the club cannot sort its own problems.

Hi everyone,
I've left a response in the "CL Booking Bug" thread about the fixes coming in the next release which will be live by the middle of next week.
The issues highlighted in this thread will be resolved by then.

Gosh, I am am trying to plan a tour using CL's .How on earth do you use the web search facility to do this? I need a web map with CL's shown on them. Check out the other clubs website much much easier to use. Guess I will resort to the paper map and book!! Backwards progress again!

Andy, If you select "UK Holidays" from the top row when you've signed in, then select "Club Sites" you will get a menu "Book a Club Site" at the bottom of which it says "Search by map". Select that and you'll see the Map Search page. There you can then select "Show Certificated Locations". Then type in a location that you want to visit, click on "Search" and the map will show all the CLs in that area. It does work, after it's own fashion. We use it in conjunction with the paper map and site directory.
Hope this helps.

Great description of how to find the search by map facility Nellie, unfortunately the search facility is still not working properly and all CL's in a search by county will not show up. For example entering Devon will only pull up sites in mid & South Devon the North of Devon does not feature at all and there are many lovely CL's in this area .

It looks to me as though you need to enter a town or city to get any sensible results. County searches just return CLs within 20 miles of the county town/city (eg Exeter for Devon, Gloucester for Gloucestershire). Area searches are also rather strange. Enter 'Cotswolds' and you get CLs in Wales. Enter 'The Cotswolds' and you get CLs around Bristol/Bath!

Claire, I did say to use the web site in conjunction with the paper map. As Alan says the system will only show CLs within 20 mls of the town one selects. You can of course just select all CLs and then navigate to the area one wants. I've just done it that way and found your CL on the map.
BTW, we would probably use your site but as you don't allow dogs we won't be able to, unfortunately.

I've found the easiest way is to have two windows open - one with the "search by map" facility and narrow down to CL's search and the second window with the name/town search and do it that way flicking between the two windows. Bit of a faff and would have expected a more stream lined user friendly service on line but needs must.
