Whether it's a good idea or not I can't see it happening as there is much to be corrected on this website as you must have found. I would much rather they get the site sorted before contemplating adding new features.

Why not bookmark the pages of your favourite sites?

I was thinking just the same thing last night when looking for a site. Being a relative newbie I am surprised there is no option to add favourites. What would also be good is if you could pin sights you have visited onto an online map.

I do bookmark the sites I am interested in for future reference.

Certainly a function that should be considered, particularly for the app, where it might be easier to achieve. The ACSI app allows you to pick favourites, and it is particularly useful in highlighting sites you might be interested in when touring and passing through an area. That app has thousands of sites, so perhaps a function that would be of more use with CL's, where similar numbers exist, rather than the main sites, with only 200 or so.

The problem with doing it on the web site, would be how to store the information. On the app it can be stored within the application itself. If stored within your history on the web site, it would be lost every time you cleared it. Which is fairly frequently with this site, just to keep it working properly. If stored under your login on the server, It would probably end up running even slower than it is.

How many favourites do you have? Is it so many that you can't just mark them in the site directory? I am sure the Club would be willing to consider the idea if they thought there was a reasonable demand for it, although as has been pointed out such changes could be a long way off at the moment. Perhaps it's just me but I am not sure why it is really required. If you have a handful of sites you like to return to is it really such a problem to go through the site listing which is done in several ways, site name, region etc?

It is not a user-friendly site at all. The favourites button is there, but if you log out those selected have not been saved for when you log in again, it's a basic feature on many other sites.
