Does anyone know of a nice CL not far from the Coast?   We want to visit Aldeburgh and Southwold.   Only essential would be electricity, but a pleasant view would be a plus.  Thanks all.

Sorry to say you've asked about Sussex but actually the places you are looking at visiting are in Suffolk 😉. We were there yesterday in the sun, but took the car.

I suggest you start a new thread and let this one die if you can't change the title or delete. I suspect neither of those are available to you.

Thanks Andrew.  Obviously I meant Suffolk coast, just another senior moment I'm afraid!

I saw that one when I did a search yesterday and thought it looked good.

     Hi Millie8

We are here to help you, it is unfortunate the some members prefer to be cynical rather than helpful. The site Croft Farm at Snape is super and close to the area you are wanting to visit.

I'm sorry if my post read as being cynical it certainly wasn't meant that way! As I live locally so haven't used CL in the area. I suggested letting the thread die and starting a new one as it may get more response.

I'll try not to take your post as an nasty dig 😉

I too can recommend Croft Farm, we've used it a couple of times. Briarwood Fm, No.1514 and Fisher Field, No.1515 in Site Directory, are also recommended.

Try Fishers Field in Theberton.  Great quiet site with 2 excellent walk in shower/toilets, walking distance to pub, 3 miles from Lieston and a couple of miles from RSPB Minsmere.

Well, despite me moving Southwold to the Sussex coast, I want to thank you all for your replies.  Croft Farm seems to be the winner so far.

We will be going on to our favourite site in north Norfolk after so will have to co-ordinate dates with that one.

    Happy caravanning to you all.cool

Have a good trip, millie. What's the name of your favourite Norfolk CL, if you don't mind me asking?

Not a CL Nellie.  Sandy Gulls in Mundesley.  Small, adults only, fab sea views, relaxed, arrive whenever, leave whenever, a bit of chocking up required but worth the effort.  I don't use it but they say the toilet/shower block is good.  Love it.wink
