Hi just joined yesterday and new to motor homing.

After browsing comments etc. I can't find any where on the web pages that give the rules or information about space between pitches awnings, there was even one comment about which way you park your vehicle in relation to the electric post, and why?,not all vehicles have a door on the nearside/ left side of the vehicle. Many thanks.

On club sites you will find a post at the back of the pitch and you put your outfit on the pitch so that as you go on the off side rear corner of the outfit is to the post if you reverse on. If you go in forwards the nearside front corner. The wardens all have a model in the office and will show you how to pitch. Provided you pitch according to the rule then the spacing will be correct.

The electric hook up posts are generally shared and near rather than at the back of the pitch but provided you have the standard cable you will have no trouble reaching this. You will normally find between two and four plugs on the post and some may have the pitch number on but most do not.

If you use any other site than a club one then they may have different rules and will tell you how they want you to pitch.

As above. The standard cable length is 25m and on some sites you may need this. On older EHU posts after plugging in to the electric you need to turn the plug 45 degrees clockwise to turn on electric and these have a red button to push in order to release to disconnect.
