Did anyone else have problems logging onto the club today?  After using our email address for at least 2 years, the caravan club website suddenly decided it did not recognise it!!!

It's happened me a few times over recent weeks, V&J. Just another idiosyncrasy of the site.

I have never had a problem logging in assuming the forum is not off line for maintenance. I do use Chrome (in Windows) which remembers both my e-mail and password automatically.

I've had trouble on my android phone and laptop. Latter using Windows 10 and Firefox. Both remember sign in details. Actually I've experienced difficulty logging in as of now and difficulty posting during this afternoon and evening. Just think it's this site.  Sometimes progress bar shows it starting halting progressing halting and progressing then hanging right at the end, on my android phone. You think it's not going to and then it does! Never seen it on any other site.

I just tried to access a thread and got a strange looking error page. What really brassed me off was the error telling me that I was lost. The cheek of it!

The 404 page error, up the top in tiny letters and the very prominent green (not corporate colours now 😉) signs are particularly hauling.  They in sense me so much I can't remember what their actual words say!

    Hello all

There was a known problem last week with logging in and registering on the website. It has now been resolved so hopefully you are successfully logged in now VandJ?

Let us know if your problems persist.

    Thanks all

    Helen

I think it disappointing that a known problem was not flagged up when it was occurring. A statement could be put on the main page, as well as CT.

It is the same as planned maintenance, although we used to get warnings in the past, lately it just happens.

I don't understand the logic of not informing the web site users. People booking sites should have this information, they can then, if possible, phone the office or sites instead.

I have paid my membership and I can't log onto the site

It says incorrect email address format and it doesn't recognise my caravan model

    Pretty poor Web site

When they open for business I would give the CC a call. I am sure it can be easily sorted out.

In respect of it not recognising your caravan model. If you can't log onto the site, you will not be able to enter your caravan details

Karl Doorbar - Having used your email address to log here (CT) OK I would try again if you are wanting to book a pitch or phone the site direct giving them details from your membership card.

If you still have problems then a way forward would be as Steve suggests.    "When they open for business I would give the CC a call. I am sure it can be easily sorted out."     Good luck.

I noticed that this is a very old thread/discussion originally from 2017.

My understanding is that if someone starts a new thread with the same title as an existing thread, new posts are automatically tagged on the the end of the thread with the original name!
