Caravan Toolkit

I am looking to buy or make up a toolkit to take around with us to keep our 12 month old caravan together when the next thing fails or falls off! This will replace the miscellaneous bits and pieces we currently have in a large shallow open box that fits in the outside locker under the front seat/bed.

Any recommendation of brand, content and where to buy?

This was discussed in some detail recently on another post.  There were many ideas of what, and what not, to put in a caravan toolbox.    Most of us have a small (ish) selection of tools with the invaluable Duct Tape and a variety of screwdrivers, pliers, mole wrench etc.  Why buy new?  A small box that also covers for minor household jobs should do the job.

As I said in previose thread  it does not matter what ever you carry in your tool kit,  there will be something you have not got at sometimewink

I started with a mobile phone and the Mayday phone number.

Try running a '91 vintage van!

You soon develop a bodge-it and do attitude! 😀

I have a small toolbox. Some wire. Electrical crimp connectors, fuses, selection of screwdrivers, pliers & adjustable spanner.

Naturally WD40 & Gaffer tape is included along with a hammer.

Most run-of-the-mill problems can be sorted with that lot! Otherwise improvise! 🙃
