Site Staff List
Anyone know if the 2017 list of which Wardens are running what site has appeared yet?

I can't see where it would be listed having had a look through some of the sections and trying Google which is usually better than our own search facility? Is it still published? I can't see it being any practical use to me but assume the OP has a reason for needing the list?

Can't think that I'd choose my site based on the Wardens, good/bad/indifferent.

I think the OP is/was a warden so possibly wants to know where friends are sited. It seems quite logical to me.

Not sure on here, but is it not usually published in the magazine. Then again that might be another article to have been removed🙄
Moderator Edit:
Up until last year, the list of site staff was published in the magazine but the 2016 list was only available online.

I would like the list of wardens for 2017, for the sole reason that we stayed on a CMC site and liked the site and area very much, but the warden in charge was something else, we go away in the van to enjoy the stay and relax and not to visit a boot camp and treated like badly behaved children. For this reason we would not return to this site with the same warden there. This is the only time in 18 years as members that this has happened.

Perhaps it's a data protection thing? Putting into the public domain where individuals will be, especially as they might have an alternative residence elsewhere might not be a sensible thing to do?

Nothing's changed this year though. I think C&CC publish details of their wardens.

Last year, if I recall, it wasn't published in the magazine as in previous years, but was available on the website but not too easy to find. I've checked and the 2016 list is no longer available online and no date can be given for the publication of the 2017 list.

I can see this carrying some weight amongst wardens. It is maybe their wishes.
In this day and age personal data is high on agendas of companies and I think this list is no exception.
To be honest, in the past it has always seemed a waste of space in the magazine. I have been to many club sites and always thank the warden when I leave. Never have I known their names. So the list may only be useful to a very small minority which seems pointless to the majority

Hi all and thanks for your question Hoodmansion
There will indeed be a list of site wardens on the website very shortly. It's just being finalised before going to "print". It will not be printed in the magazine this year. If anyone has any specific queries about sites and wardens before it is releases online then please do call in and we can answer you personally.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Helen,
As Tinwheeler stated, being an ex "site staffer" I am looking for a couple of ex-colleagues who have dropped of my radar.

Ah, got it now. It's a variation on Facebook/Friends ReUnited.

Must have been an easy one to answer properly with TWO members of staff replying😂

Mmm. You wait for ages for one and then two come along.

More members avoid Wardens than want to meet them again in our experience
Most sites open today, but still no sign of the list! Surely a simple task of merging 2 spreadsheets together!!

I have the greatest of respect for site staff, but I have no more need of knowing which 'branch' they have moved to than I have of knowing the same for a shop assistant, a bus driver or a tourist office assistant.
Do they publish these lists just for the benefit of warden staff? Surely if they want to stay in touch, then they would.......errrr.....stay in touch?

I think it would be interesting for the Club to tell us how many page views the warden list gets as that would be a good way of judging whether it's a worthwhile exercise or not. If it's a reasonable number obviously continue with it, on the other hand if it's it's just a handful you would have to question how worthwhile it is? If you want to keep in touch with old chums that surely is a personal thing and not really something the Club should be expected to facilitate?
