C&MH club new Logo
I have no desire to get involved in the merits or demerits of the "clubs" new name and image change as I feel change was about due, many will disagree I'm sure, but recently when driving to a club site we have visited many times before we noticed how difficult it was to pick out the club signage at the the entrance to the site. Previously the green signs were easily spotted making it easier when visiting unfamiliar club sites. I wonder how others feel about this and whether it was a mistake with the go with the colours chosen.

We had no problem spotting the signs at Clumber Park, either at the gates, or by the turning into site. If you are relying upon a small roadside sign of any colour in this age of sat navs and smart phones, then better hope for for an attentive co pilot and decent eyesight. They are just new, couple of visits, brain trained to look for a white rather than green sign and all will be well!

This is the first time I have visited a site since the changeover. I have to agree that the new signs just don't stand out like the old ones. Perhaps I was expecting to see the old one, it just did not do it for me. The new logo really needs to be bolder with a splash of couloir to catch the eye.

Unfortunately I currently travel alone except for my 10 year old African Grey parrot called Malcolm, I would indeed call him a very decent and attentive co-pilot and good company, and I can assure you he has very decent eyesight, almost eagle eyed!!.
Roald Amundsen left Baffin Bay and sailed around the southern coast of Victoria Island and along the northern coast of Canada and Alaska in 1905, almost certainly without a GPS or mobile phone.
I am, unlike many modern day travellers able to read a map and memorise most of the roads and the major part of the route, (brain training I suppose).
I think you missed my point about clear signage at the entrance to Caravan and Motorhome Club sites.

Just returned from Chatsworth & I completely agree, the new signs are hard to pick out compared to the lime green on the previous signs.
The new sign looks like some advertising board. Perhaps it was because I was looking for the old signage of green & white is why this sign didn't stand out straight away. Only time will tell!

At least I am not alone in my thinking. I am currently at the Cirencester park site. On the main road immediately after the roundabout exit the new logo signboard sits amongst others pointing towards the site. A few yards further down the old logo board stands out and when you get to the site entrance yet another 'old logo' sits on the gate. Have they run out of the new signboards already?

I returned yesterday from a short stay at Malvern, where the Club site shares an entrance road with the C&CC's Blackmore site next door, and it was striking how much better the C&CC sign at the roadside stood out as compared to the C&MC sign.
It was my first visit there, and passing the C&CC site entrance it was impossible to pick out the sign at the C&MC club entrance until almost on it. I nearly drove into the Girl Guides site instead!
That said, it did appear as though all the signs are temporary, produced on a colour printer and then laminated. Perhaps when permanent signs go up visibility may be better. But I do agree that the new colours are unlikely to stand out from a distance as well as the old red and green signage did.

Many a true word typed in jest!!
On our recent stay at Baltic Wharf, my daughter wanted an ice cream as she had noticed the walls ice cream sign at the office. When she asked for one, the warden replied it was not ice cream season at the site and there was an ice cream shop just up the road. We walked to the ice cream shop that had a walls ice cream sign outside, it looks remarkably like the new CC / camc / wotever sign.
When we returned to site we stood looking at the walls ice cream sign by the office, and then up at the new sign on one side of the site sign on the wall. Looked pretty similar.
