Writing a review

So we logged on the the Club site this morning to write a review for a site we've reviewed before and got a message pop up 'you have already reviewed this site'! And we couldn't write anything.  After contacting the Club we were told this was a known fault!  Has the caravan club spent all of their time and money rebranding (what a waste of time and money) that it could not get this problem fixed?

Has it not been fixed yet? Been known about since the update disgusting.  Was it a CL? I've not heard anyone say same for club site. We're on a  CL that we've reviewed before but this is a new season!

It's very poor that reviews cannot be left for CLs, and that so many existing reviews were lost at the upgrade. I don't feel the same about Club Sites.

My understanding is that all reviews older than two years have been Deleted User. So if you have stayed at the same site within two years is there really a need to add a further review, especially if nothing has materially change about the infrastructure of the site? I am not sure if you can do this to your own reviews but could you not add a comment to the original review?

    Hi everyone,

I've spoken to IT about this and they have informed me that they are testing a fix for this, and it should be ready to go live in a couple of weeks.

@vandj I've sent you an email in response to your phone call to Head Office earlier. I hope it finds you well.

There may well be a desire to do another review of a site as things do change. That is not only on the site but also within the local area

Will we be able to leave a review after every visit after the fix goes live eventually? I think it's important for ourselves to formally acknowledge to CL as well as to inform others. Also if it has changed from a previous visit for better or worse it's nice to be able to note that too.

After the fix, members should be able to review a site as many times as they like! I'll let you know how the testing has gone when we're ready to go live.

CLs can change a lot in a short period, so I think reviews are important for CLs. Club Sites rarely change much from year to year, and leaving a review about barking dogs, noisy children or speeding motorist etc.....are quite frankly useless, as things can change on that score in a day!

Club sites can vary through the seasons with the closure or opening of local facilities. It's  helpful to note any changes throughout the year.
