Site plan pitch numbers

Back yesterday from a couple of nights at Malvern, and noticed that the site plan with the new C&MC heading that was handed out at reception didn't have pitch numbers printed on it.

Is this happening elsewhere?  If so a very retrograde step in my view.

    What reasons for this did the wardens give? Are they in the process of reorganising or renumbering the site? I guess they know best and we can only guess!

    So far this year I have had properly numbered site plans for each site visited. Pitches out of action don't have numbers til the season gets into full swing but the plans show all numbered pitches.

    I didn't remember to ask the wardens the one time I went into reception after I noticed.  Maybe, as you say, there was some reorganisation in the offing.  It was my first time at Malvern, so it may always have been like that for all I know.
