Many Tow car queries are about Tow Ball measurements E.G. Passat Alltrack.  This was T.C.O.Y 2017. Yet no mention was made of the fact that the tow ball is only 65mm from the bumper and an Alco hitch needs a clearance of 58mm . No mention was made of the suspension drop . Should these be made part of the Tow Car Reviews

    I am sure these factors are taken into account when reviewing tow cars.  We have an Alltrack and whilst the towball ideally would have more clearance it is not as tight as the figures quoted imply and I have certainly had no issues hitching up or otherwise.  As for suspension drop we load a ton of stuff in the back of the car and tow with a full 90kg  noseweight and I can't say I have noticed the back of the car dropping at all.
