Can anyone tell me what provision the Club has in place to stop a Cyber attack. With so much data held by the Club, it seems reasonable to have assurance that any Cyber attack will have minimal damage.

I've tried to find information on the Club website, unsuccessfully.

I suspect that is something that would not be made public knowledge for obvious reasons.

I'd imagine the same as any other 'not-for profit' organisation- they'll have anti-virus and not much else.

What are you worried about being stolen?

Have a look at the 'Privacy policy' at the bottom of the webpage. Below is an extract of the Privacy Policy

3.7. How do we protect your personal information?

All of our online forms that may collect personal data are protected by encryption and we also use secure third party payments services when you make a payment via our digital services. We take appropriate measures to safeguard personal information that is disclosed to us and keep it secure, accurate and up to date.

Of course as Tinwheeler says they are not going to say what tactual encryption they use. Whilst it offers no physical protection The Caravan Club is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (they are also registered on the same registration number as the Caravan and Motorhome Club).
