Google Maps overlay

I like to look at an on-line map when planning a trip. The paper map is OK but I have to get on my hands and knees on the floor and it's sometimes difficult to make enough space. I know there is a map on the website but it's a bit small. Is there a Google Maps overlay that you can download so that when you're looking at an area full screen the CAMC sites and CLs are displayed. That would also allow you to plan a route between them.

I just wish I could adjust my preferences so journey times reflected my slower pace with the caravan in tow and it didn't try to route me through unsuitable areas.

You can download the Club's POIs at https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/uk-holidays/planning-your-route/satellite-navigation-downloads/  and you should be able to convert them to kml files if you Google for free conversion software. I do this but load them onto Memory Map's OS maps.

I've downloaded the sites and CL POI and I'll save them to the TomTom when the other half gets home. Following your advice peedee I used an online converter and overlayed them to Google maps in the My Maps section. It's a bit crowded if you view the whole UK but once you zoom in a bit it becomes less cluttered. You can select CLs, Club sites or both, click on a location then get directions from home which is just what I wanted.

I wouldn't like to say they are up to date Graymee, I have been asking the Club to date these files since the introduction of the Web site but...... so far no action.
