Off for first trip of the year...   Many years ago when the now Mrs.G and I took our first holiday together, we travelled down along the old A75 through Wigtonshire, Kirkcudbrightshire etcc..  (now all part of Dumfries & Galloway)  and on to the Lake district.

After many years in Hampshire, we're back in Scotland and off to retrace the old A75 route down to Dumfries  (the modern road bypasses virtually all the towns).  Then it's across the borders and north again up the East coast.  Back in about 8 days..

    Have a great time.

    Just booked our first trip this year, very local, go Wednesday back Sunday. Hoping to do longer trip very soon.
