Locked Discussion & Lack of Representation
Why are the discussions obout the new Club name and logo being locked?
I can understand that abusive comments should be removed but some of the locked discussions have no abusive comments.
Looks like the "Club" mabagenent cannot take the criticism of what they have done.
Same has, and does, apply when negative comments are made about 'van manufactures or the NCC who the those at East Grinstead seem afraid of in case they lose advertising revenue.
They are supposed to represent the membership but I don'the recall seeing anything in the magazine (perhaps that should say advertising leaflet) where the "Club hierarchy" has questioned a manufacturer about problems such as damp ingress, which a number of us suffer with.
I have been a Caravan Club member for over 36 years but am unlikely to renew with an organisation which seems to get further away from the erosion of a member's club each month.

I think you'll find that only threads which duplicate other discussions have been locked. There has been ample opportunity for people to vent their spleen and vent it they well and truly have.
May I ask why you felt the need to shout the title of your thread?

Anyway, as querying moderation breaches the guidelines (as does shouting) it's my guess that this thread will also be closed.

Hi Vanningman. Thank you for your post. As you will appreciate, to have too many threads open on the same subject means that members can easily get mixed up between threads and the same/ or duplicate posts get typed. Try the following, by clicking on the title - it will take you to the appropriate thread. If you have any ideas for moving the Club forward, please feel free to post in the appropriate thread.
Suggestions to help the Clubs new ideas
There are a lot of very unhappy Club members
P.S. Writing titles and prose in continuous capitals is considered 'shouting' and is against the community guidelines.
I hope you will appreciate my reasons for changing the case of your title and closing the thread. Please follow one of the links above, to continue your discussion, and hopefully help us move forward.
Hope this helps.
Regards
David
