Delay in typing to appearing in text

Is it only me but the discussion pages seem to have a got a technical problem since the revamp.  When I hit the keys on my laptop there is quite a delay before the type appears on the screen.  If I am not alone, come on Grinstead Towers please sort it out!

    • You are not alone. Seems OK on my Samsung phone but I'm only one fingered on here.  Can't type at all on my Kindle Fire it eats the words after I've typed! Ihave put on the snag list twice, mentioned it in a live chat, been told it was being passed on. Finally I emailed two replies both not addressing the original issue, asked but be forwarded to actual IT department not email enquiries - stony silence since. As for typing on my laptop well as I typist I type fast and know when I've hit an incorrect key, trouble is I can't see how many back spaces required as text appears so long after entry.

    Same happens frequently on my i Pad, it is very frustrating!

    Very much the same when editing and deleting, if you aren't careful it will carry on deleting letters long after you have released the 'Del' key.

    For me, best on Android for typing, worst on laptop windows 10, words often join up etc, not reliable yet.
