Hello all. I have a swift challenger 480 2006 (love it) laughing There are three sockets where the TV sits next to the coaxial socket with white red and yellow on them (Audio video sockets) does anyone know if plugging this into my TV will play the TV sound through the internal speakers??

Thank you in anticipation wink

I do not know - but your hanndbook will (if original fitment).  Otherwise - just try it and find out what happens.  We are now all "Explorers" after all!

Not at the moment, I store her some miles away. I will take one at the weekend and put it on. Thank you for your prompt reply and interest though laughing

The sockets are not wired as standard to the stereo. If you have the standard Blaupunk radio/cd you will need an adaptor to go into the rear of the unit!I did not bother doing it as the standard radio speakers face downward into the front corners of the van....not the best position!

Thank you for that info. I will buy an external speaker as the sound from the TV is pants foot-in-mouth or perhaps i will go for walks or read!!

What TV?  Or could it be the signal is weak where you are trying it?

No problem with the signal Pippah45, just a tinny sound from the TV undecided

You could invest in a better quality t.v. or faf about with a device that tunes into the same station as the radio and transfers the sound by bluetooth! The proper name escapes me at present!!!!

Cheers Guys. I don't spend enough time watching the TV in the van to warrant faffing about foot-in-mouth I will just take my external speaker for a better sound. Shame though, it would have been cool just to plug in and have the sound come out of the internal speakers smile thank you all for your advice and interest though, you rock
