Seasonal Pitch

A friend of mine is considering putting his caravan on a seasonal pitch on a commercial site,it will  on site from March to October would it be advisable to put the caravan on axle stands to keep the weight off of the tyres ?

    The site operator might not be happy with that idea. Also, it could affect levelling and stability. I say no to axle stands but let it stand on its wheels and move it a foot every now and then.
