Will be returning home tomorrow after spending a great birthday weekend with children, grandtwins and dogs at a lovely cottage just outside Sudbury in Suffolk.  Long walks, food, drink and lots of chat.

I  had  a  couple  of  those  M/Erasers  Bakers2  --  altho  I  don't  know  how  green  the  Manufacturing  process  is,  the  ability  to  use  them  with  only  water  makes 'em  nice  &  green  at  the  consumers  end   !!

Now  I'm  off  to  bed  to  dream  of  a  painless  visit  to  the  dentist  tomorrow  sealed  then  back  home    to  feed  the  Homers  in  the  knowledge  it  will  be  "soft  Food"  for  Brian  for  a  day  or  three  frown

    Good  Night  All  kiss

I managed to get away at 19:30 after doing the two Macdonalds orders. I sent the boss a message to say I was finishing for the day. He then took the next town centre delivery kfc order off my name so that I could go home. So we were back at the CMC site by 20:30. Today will be harder as we're due to finish at 22:00. Last Monday there were no deliveries after 21:30 so we were able to leave a little earlier and got back to the site before the 11 p.m. deadline! Hopefully, we can do the same tonight.

Just finished breakfast. We had cereal followed by bacon and egg with toast and a pot of tea. The weather looks more reasonable this morning, fair weather, some sun and a bit of light cloud. It's nearly 8 a.m. so three hours left before having to leave for work.

I have some of those magic erasures Bakers2.  Aren't they wonderful.  I use them to clean grubby marks off paintwork and kitchen cupboards.

Nice sunny morning here - long may it last.

Beautiful sunny chilly start to the day here. Contrary to forecast, did a load of washing which is blowing nicely 😆. Debating on decorating or dead ceonothaus removal once I've vac'd through.

    Enjoy your day folks.

Waiting for new lounge furniture to arrive, don't you just hate sitting around all day for a delivery!!! Not sure why I should be so concerned as the decision has taken 10 years!!! When it does arrive and we are happy with it I then need to dispose of the old suite. Trouble is that it is getting on in years so does not have fire safety fabrics and foam so it can only go to the dump. At least with MK Council that is cheaper than the delivery cost of the new furniture!!!

Sunny start here but has now deteriorated, looks like rain is about to start.

Wood turning club this afternoon, so I am using the morning to work out a cutting plan for the bits for those plinth pods, see if I can get all the required bits out of the free stuff from Ikea.

This project has given me a good reason to order a new toy, a router table, have been wanting one for ages!

Nice sunny day  again, still very windy. Not doing much today, maybe going for a walk later as we usually  do. I've  got a painful neck today not sure if it's  the way I slept or the way I was laying on the sun bed, yesterday. OH has got a cough that's  irritating  him, there seems to be a bit of it going around here listening to the amount of them coughing  and spluttering around the pool. Hopefully  it will be short lived with fresh air and sunshine.

Good to hear some of you are getting away in your vans, as nice as it is here I can't  wait to get back and get away in ours again.

Been to take Carol to do a little shopping this morning and have popped in to our caravan dealers to let them know that our caravan is effected by the Truma gas BBQ point recall.  They are not expectino the parts in until April/May so can't book us in for the work to be carried out until they get the parts.  I'll need to send off to Trauma for one on the temporary 'block off' devices.

Arrived in Worthing and straight into action with two orders already. One KFC order and one Cafe Pitti. Our immediate boss is on his day off today so the orders are coming from the Brighton office. So I'm now parked outside the Broadwater KFC.

We're now on our second order. This is going to take some time because Brighton office said no-one is answering the phone at Cafe Pitti so they just got the order from us on arrival. So it still has to be cooked!

We had quite a pleasant commute this morning. There seems to be a lot less traffic on the road today and fair weather with some sunshine. The hardest part is Dean Road when you turn right out of the club site towards the A23. It's very narrow with trees falling across the road. At the end of the road you come to Starbucks and turn left from there to join the M23 a little further along. The M23 eventually becomes the A23 into Brighton and then from there A27 to Worthing.

Been lovely flung windows open and double doors on the conservatory so house had a good change of air. Clouding over here. First load of washing dry, towels almost dry but have grabbed in as jolly black and stop start rain. Had to go out for multipurpose compost to feed the plant replacing the now removed ceonothaus. Police helicopter up and hovering over railway line and adjacent area. As I left garden centre 2 police vehicles parked no occupants. Called at Lidl for a guesswork shop. Traffic solid 🙄 around noon! Unloaded shopping and helicopter has come our way lots more siren activity 😯. Hubby has replaced the ceonothaus and cut up the old bush and it's in the brown bin. Enjoyed lunch in an intermidiately sunny conservatory. Off to visit aunt very soon while hubby has an hour or two to himself.

Lovely sunny morning up here. Had a nice walk round the bridleways finishing up in the village to collect the paper. It's clouding over now.

I had a stiff neck the other day but that was caused by one of my daughter's dogs who loves to sit partly along the back of the sofa and partly on the back of my neck or my shoulder. He gets so comfortable I haven't the heart to shift him, so self inflicted I suppose😫

Got down to see my other daughter yesterday and take her out for lunch. The drive back was through some really heavy rain on the A1. My knee stood up well😀

It was warm and sunny enough in Redhill for me to be able to take the relaxer out of our tent and on to the gravel in front. So I was able to spend a little time in the relaxer this morning before leaving for work.

We have now done four deliveries so far this afternoon. The last delivery was a packet of cigarettes from Capital Vapes to the same customer that we delivered to before.

Before that, we had a gap in the deliveries,so we bought some Cornish Pasties and Cappucino coffee and drove to West Parade Gardens for our eats and drink. Not long after came our order from Capital Vapes.

After completing that, there were no more orders so we are now parked on the north side of Broadwater Green. I just found out that the purple crocuses had only recently been planted by the Rotary Club in conjunction with Worthing Council. So that explains why there is so much more purple in the flower display this year. There is also a huge display of daffodils that have opened up nicely.

I had a walk around the green next to the border flowers but in the end got defeated by the cold north wind that is blowing down here, so made a quick retreat back to the warmth of the car. Apart from one or two people walking their dogs, it's quite deserted on the green. I think that cold wind is enough to put off the hardiest of picnickers! It's a different story on summer weekends when the cricketers are here playing their matches!

Made a mistake this morning and headed off on the water taxi from Baltic Wharf and then to the Bristol Museum, steep hill walk involved only to find the museum was closed on Mondays. Going back though! They have some if the Staffordshire hoard on display. Lovely on the water anyway so nice trip. Family visited. Meeting again at the Nova Scotia pub for a meal. A real old Bristol pub hasn't changed in years. smile

We've just been to Subway on Cricketers Parade, Broadwater for a cup of tea where we whiled away another 45 minutes waiting for the next order. We couldn't stay any longer as parking is restricted there to one hour, so we're back at Broadwater Green again.

We plan to do some shopping later this evening. I say later because we have to keep the chilled foods in the cool box and that means we can't leave the car once that's done. The cool box can run on the car battery when the engine is off but we've found that's not a good idea because if left too long it can flatten the battery. No problem as long as the engine is running continuously. However, there have been a lot of gaps today with the car parked and engine off for a long time, enough for chilled foods to get spoilt.

The Green seems to have come to life. Some children have put up a makeshift goalpost and are playing football. The next generation of football stars no doubt!

Glad the dentist is pleased with his work. What did the dentist do today?  Will you be able to eat soon? Hopefully you'll be sorted and comfortable before too long - well at least your mouth, not so sure about your wallet 😉.

It's interesting to read about your visit because we're booked to spend two weeks there over Christmas and New Year. Like you say, there'll probably be plenty for us to see and do there. Better to be closer to the city lights at that time of the year to brighten up the dark winter evenings!

Do i really have to stand the cost of new drawings, the cost of increased material prices ,cancelled labour, machines, delayed manufacture /suppliers !! !! All because of the negligence of the planning office ??  !!  ?? yell Grrr!! Angry of East Kent !!  yell.

The problem is, trikyauto, that if they've lost the originals, they could easily lose the next lot as well.
