I wish we could start some planning and booking, it will be within the UK and hopefully a few weeks tour. Decorating and sorting garden as not had much attention in past 12 months. Want to plan trip to NZ to see daughter and family too but awaiting ANY sort of wedding news for son. I feel like we're waiting for others to say what their plans are before we can make our own.

Cheer me up with your plans, might give me some inspiration too 😉

Well done David, its a good journey provided no storms in the bay of Biscay.

If you leave at Midnight Sunday you will arrive on Tuesday  - disembark at 07.30, fully refreshed and ready for a days driving.

    Good luck

We plan to stay this side of the pond this year and will take in 2 or 3 new mini areas, namely Whitby, Leominster and parts of Wiltshire. May not sound exciting but we can't wait and have also joined HHA this year to explore a bit of heritage. Also looking forward to reacquainting ourselves with Dorset, Sussex, and Bempton cliffs near Bridlington. Then there's a break in the Lakes and one in Shropshire or Dumfries (tba). Exhausted already.

This is a bit different this year and no doubt we'll get wanderlust for Europe later on in the year but I like both UK AND Europe so can't lose really.

Never been to Venice before and this Spring seriously considering the trip. However, not sure whether to take the 2 seater and go 'topless' staying in hotels or attach the caravan to the Kuga! Both journeys and stops are already on spreadsheets! Decisions, decisions!

We are still restricted to UK only at present, and in fact off the road at moment altogether in terms of long tours, but maybe later in year we hope to get up East Coast of Scotland, maybe do Lakes and Dumfries &Galloway, and hopefully Wales. All depends on certain things, but fingers are crossed.

We have not been away yet this year and have no immediate plans. Poor Margaret has had a sudden attack of arthritis in her shoulders and arms which is very painful and she is awaiting a physio appointment. I have booked a Eurotunnel crossing for late May and hope by them she will be feeling better.

Start off at Melrose, then up to Bunree, carry on to Morvich, then Skye (CCC) club site. Then up to Kinlochewe then escape the dreaded beasties of the west coast and head east to Speyside (CCC) site then drop down to Balbirnie Park. Last of all then Troutbeck Head. Till the summer trip to Cornwall just for a week though with Grandkids and Daughter then back to Scarborough all in UK just hope the weather is good!!!. Then winter planning to consider.

The only thing I know, at the moment, is that we won't be going across the channel (or underneath it) this summer.  Still deciding where to go at home.  We've  been on a couple of short breaks so far this year - Wareham and Cornwall.  We'll see what happens.

In a couple of months or so we are going up to Scotland, all the way up the east coast to Dunnet Head and back, over 3 weeks. Later in the year, we are taking the van over to Ireland, crossing via Belfast, heading north then around the west coast, south as far as Galway and returning via Dublin, again over 3 weeks. So far, retirement is good. smile

Eurostar, all the way to Avignon to visit sister. I have always fancied going on it, and as long as we book early, it will work out cheaper than taking the car and certainly be more relaxing.

Just finished a winter rally with the C&CC, a first for us because of the 4 weeks on one site! Had a good time and have got a tan and hope to repeat the visit next year.

Tunnel all booked for 10 weeks across the water from the end of April, new to us will be the Czec Republic before dropping down to Vienna and on to our favourite country Slovenia. Also returning via the 'Romantic Road' Germany which we intended to do last year.

Of course the weather could affect everything so the final direction will always be open.

So far we've booked a eurotunnel crossing for mid May, vague plans to visit places in France we've not been to but the country could change, depending on the weather.  Also thinking about some short trips in UK and maybe Italy later in the year.  I love planning  smile  We usually go to places we've not been to before but have a few favourites we might revisit.

Some CL weeks before 6 weeks in France starting with Portsmouth to Caen crossing. Usual site for at least 3 weeks and possible visits to friends for some of the others. Before that take delivery of our new car, Volvo XC90. Bring it on!

Nearly a week on the Isle of Purbeck, Haycraft camc site last week of the Easter school holidays. Trying to herd cats in getting friends and family to be on a platform on the Swanage Steam Railway to surprise Mrs P for her birthday, and go to Corfe Castle for a day out. Other friends will be at Haycraft ahead of our arrival to add to the surprise. Not done that area with the caravan yet.

A week at Baltic Wharf in August for the Balloon Fiesta. Although the family is from Brizzle, never managed the BF before.

As many other breaks as we can make given where work takes me.

Another one for Brizzle here! The Harbour Festival lots of music, food and boats! Nothing much planned, we're on a waiting list for a rally in Devon and have a Devon/Cornwall trip planned later this month. Usual Spring trip to see Cornish gardens, Caerhays this year.

Must think of something else soon!
