As my Bailey does not have handles on the shower doors a photograph would help.

Knowing nothing about Baileys, is there a wooden entrance door to the shower room. Maybe it is this that has a handle loose?

If the handle has a round cover then sometimes these twist anti-clockwise to reveal the screws.

The bezel pulls off or turns off.  They may be screws on one side only.

Thanks for your replies the bezel is just pushed on but very tight fit managed to tap it off once secured in the vice not sure how you would remove one fastened to the door without damaging the door ( mine had worked loose whilst traveling and droped off) The door is a cheap domestic type made of hardboard so can see more problems in the future

I don't think you would like the result of having solid oak doors, Rod!

It's the same on the Bailey Valencia 2011. Never had a problem with mine. Can it be that tight if it came loose? You should be able just to tighten the screws and push the bezel back on. Hope you sort it.

Hi Rod don't know if this will solve the problem but we suffer from this problem every time we go out with our Elddis the bathroom door handle falls off. At first I thought we had lost the screw even went to dealer to get a spare then I noticed it was a Allan key fitting not a crosshead or possihead and the screw was still in the hole problem solved till the next time we went out.

Thanks for your replies the van has been in to the dealers for some warranty work and on arriving home I went inside and the shower room door was open and the complete handle hanging off with the 4 screws all loose, I was not sure how the bezel came off to allow me to tighten the screws this I have managed to do with the help of this forum, the problem now is the holes made by the screws are to large to be tightened again so it was a trip to B&Q for the next size up.Navigateur I understand what you mean about the door quality  but small screws into hard board will always present a problem when in constant use as is such our shower room .

You could use bolts to replace the screws and go right through with the nuts under the bezel on the handle on the other side.  If you got locked in the washroom, would you be able to climb out the window?

That was a serious question. Exiting through the washroom window if need be is part of my fire escape plan.

They should have used two c/sk bolts with tube nuts on the other end, fitted top and bottom, if you buy a pair of handles from B&Q this is  what are supplied for the hollow doors👍

    Hi hooker 128,

I have replaced the screws with the next size up and will see how things are when we are next away but will check out the handles for hollow doors on are next regular visits to B&Q. Perhaps it would be a good idea to purchase a pair as a stand buy.( should not be two expensive )

Thanks for the info I was not aware they were available
