Motor mover problem

My motor mover has stopped working . I changed the batteries in the hand set but no luck. There is power but not reaching the mover. I tried the reset button but this is now telling me that there is a short to the chassis. Anyone got an idea what I should be looking for to fix this ?

    First I would check you have a feed coming from the mover control unit then check if you have the same voltage at both mover motors if you have the same voltage at both motors maybe one of the motors has a short, I take it you battery is fully charged

    Not clear what make you have but most of the makers have a help line you can ring and they will help you try to diagnose the fault.
