hi

Storm Doris has claimed a tree at Chatsworth site, fortunately the pitch was unoccupied no one or caravan/motor home was damaged ( notice keeping post in line with new club description)

Lucky that it came down on an empty pitch.

We are there in a couple of weeks - hope this doesn't spark a health & safety clampdown whilst they check every other tree on site!!

That's the row we usually stop on. Also there shortly, glad we or anyone else wasn't on that pitch today.

On a positive note I am sure that's the tree that was blocking my satellite signal last September.

So glad no one was using the pitch. More work for the wardens.

Glad nobody injured. The Estate probably have to deal with removal of the tree as soon as possible.

Skies clearing over now and wind dying down in the south Midlands.

The tree that came down didn't fall on the pitch so it doesn't matter whether it was occupied or not

the main thing is no one or anything was damaged

Correct... headline news " small tree comes down causing no damage."

Was that the 94mph wind constantly refered to. That was in Capel Currig North Wales but seem to apply even to London news. We were at Betws y Coed and despite that  no damage to the site. No wonder Trump has banned news outfits.

The most important thing is that no one appears to have been hurt, thank goodness.

We're in Cornwall at the moment and it's blowin up outside and the van is rocking.  Hope were still all in one piece tomorrow!  smile

Seem to remember there was a tree came down on a caravan at Melrose may be last year or the year before.

We arrived at Chatsworth during Storm Doris and stayed till Sunday. I didn't even see this tree!

Admittedly the wine was rather strong surprised
