Coachman window catch problem

There is a window in the door of the coachman pastiche that I bought at auction yesterday - and I can't figure out how to open it.  Does anyone have any clues - or perhaps it has just seized?

  They can stick, Pippah. Isn't it the same type of catch as on the windows? I seem to vaguely remember pushing a small black button and swivelling the handle.

  I didn't think my door window opens, but my window catches have a button to depress at the corner of the catch.This is on the lower catches only.

  The window catches seem to squeeze - but the one in the door is different.
