Well, last night I had a go at what I believe is termed 'binge viewing' and watched all four episodes of this BBC drama on i-Player. To be honest, once I got into it, it was impossible not to continue.

What a superb series!

A great storyline and great acting. Twists and turns throughout, I really felt the pain of the leading lady.

Highly recommended!

I'm now about to buy the kindle book, I enjoyed it so much.

We didn't like it either, watched the first but not bothered with the rest.

We watched the first episode and then decided against watching anymore. I am sure it was well made and well acted but the subject matter did not really appeal.

Well, as the saying goes....the plot thickened as it went on.

Not really, it didn't ring true to me!

I nearly didn't continue after the first episode as I didn't really take to all the sex shown(and I'm not prudish by any means).   However I persevered and watched it all and did enjoy it.   I think many viewers would have been put off by that first episode and so not watched what was a good drama.

I followed it to the end, brilliant drama and a harrowing tale, fully understandable the direction she took after being raped by her colleague. Yes there were sex scenes but I'm easy with that if it added to the storyline.

At least I heard and understood every word unlike two latest dramas I'm watching.

Just read the book and that is also very good.

Whilst he TV version follows it closely, there is inevitably more detail in the book.

Great research about the layout of the Palace of Westminster, the streets of London and especially, the workings of the Old Bailey and the tactics used by barristers.......I greatly recommend this book.
